Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates

HEAR Program Update

The HEAR program will reopen on October 26, 2026. Rebates for single-family applicants will be limited to electrical wiring and panel upgrades completed in conjunction with a Home Efficiency Rebates (HER) project. The HEAR multifamily and do-it-yourself (DIY) pathways will not reopen.

How to Get Started

To get started, visit the HER webpage and follow the instructions on how to apply. The first step in all HER projects is an energy audit conducted by a program-approved contractor. As part of the energy audit, the contractor will identify eligible energy efficiency improvements. If eligible electrical work is identified, the contractor will help you explore HEAR program opportunities and requirements.
