Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates

The Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) will help low-and-moderate income households secure savings on specific appliance purchases. This program also provides incentives for the installation of specific upgrades.

To participate, households will need to show proof of purchase, installation, income documentation, and adhere to all program requirements.

This is an income-based program where incentive amounts are tied to your household's Area Median Income (AMI) level.

Eligible measures refers to the specific products or upgrades that are appropriate for this rebate program.

*Heat pump purchases require an assessment prior installation to qualify for rebate.

Please note: Replacing an existing electric appliance with a new electric appliance is not allowed.

  • Replacing an electric kitchen appliance with an induction appliance is not allowed.
  • Clothes dryers are eligible for rebates if upgrading an electric clothes dryer to a heat pump clothes dryer.
  • Electric tank water heaters are eligible for rebates if upgrading to a heat pump water heater.
