Home Efficiency Rebates

Improve the comfort of your home through whole-home energy efficient retrofits and upgrades. Home Efficiency Rebates (HER) will help reduce the cost of efficiency improvements throughout your entire home. These incentives are based on a household’s Area Median Income (AMI) and the amount of energy savings introduced because of the upgrades.

Household Participation

To get started, households will need to contact a program-approved contractor for a home energy assessment. This assessment will help demonstrate how different improvements can help your home achieve greater energy savings.

Please be aware that there may be costs associated with the home assessment. If you choose to participate in the program and are eligible, program contractors might include these costs in your final bill. Before getting any work done on your home, please ask your contractor about any potential assessment fees, first.

For HER, your incentive amount(s) are determined by your household income relative to your county's Area Median Income (AMI) and your total expected energy savings. A program-approved contractor will work with you to create a project (scope of work) that will help improve the comfort of your home.
