Home Efficiency Rebates
Improve the comfort of your home through whole-home energy efficient retrofits and upgrades. Home Efficiency Rebates (HER) will help reduce the cost of efficiency improvements throughout your entire home. These incentives are based on a household’s area median income and the amount of energy savings introduced because of the upgrades.
Household Participation
To get started, households will need to contact a program-approved contractor for a home energy assessment. This assessment will help demonstrate how different improvements can help your home achieve greater energy savings.
Please note, there may be costs associated with the assessment. Contractors may decide to add that cost to your final bill should you decide to participate in the program. Please ask the program-approved contractor about the potential assessment fees before one is conducted at your home.
Find an Approved Contractor
For HER, your incentive amount(s) are determined by your household income relative to your county's area medium income (AMI) and your total expected energy savings. A program-approved contractor will work with you to create a project (scope of work) that will help improve the comfort of your home.
