Georgia's Home Energy Rebates will help reduce the cost of residential energy efficiency and electrification projects.

Please keep in mind, there are two residential rebate programs being offered by the state of Georgia. While each program has distinct participation requirements, the intake process for the pilot is generally the same.

  • Decide how you’d like to participate.

Start thinking about what type of project might work best for your household - whether you have a project in mind or want a contractor to guide you.

  • Start building scope.

Review the list of in-network contractors to find one near you or look at the list of eligible ENERGY STAR™ certified products.

  • Gather what you’ll need.

Participating households will need to verify some information including household income and homeownership.

  • Contact an approved contractor.

During the limited pilot, please contact one of the approved contractors directly to begin the rebate process. When the rebate programs fully launch by March 31, 2025, an online portal will be available to submit important information including income documentation and key project details.
